Anyhow, arrived at the venue at 8:15 and went straight through the VIP (thanks to the passes Rachel sent me) - up to the 3rd floor in the lift Simon just as you were exiting a room marked wardrobe I think - I was just behind you and gonna say hi but you disappeared before I had the chance - damn!!! Just now I pull up to the drive-in window at Starbucks and ask for my usual Iced Green Tea Latte and the very good looking young man at the window asks me with a sweet smile, what are you listening to?

(It happened to be raised from simontownshendis)

I say enthusiasticaly, Yea! That's Simon Townshend, I reach for my Casbah Club Vensustraphobia CD and show him the front and back as I tell him this is the new band he's with and give the the history of each member.

He keeps smiling, cute as a bug in a rug... although looking like he has no idea who Big Country and The Jam were. He still looks thrilled so I continue to reach for simontownshendis and say this one was from a few years back, its got 18 tracks and can be purchased on Simon's site. He gestures to borrow it for a moment and writes down the title.

Who knows, this one very cool boy may be one start into a whole new exposure of the Amercian market!

This is just one story! Bet there are quite a few more stories a buzzin. Hope you guys all make it to the states! We're gonna love ya here.

Actually, Simon, I'm trying to convince my man to play the EP at work... (He's at HMV.) He says that's not fair cause people can't buy it from them and it'd just cause him a lot of agro. (He does the special ordering.)

Sooo... Please post as SOON as you choose a label to release it on! Not only will I have him order a zillion copies for his store, I'll have him play it 24/7. :D

My two youngest daughters make me play Anyway She Moves over and over again (good thing I like it) and they do their own seated version of the "crap dance" in the backseat.
