Sounds as good as I remember it being.

Did you get hold of any of the video feed from the NEC while you were on??

It was mainly one camera on you up until 'When She Sleeps' when it went multi camera - looked good

Get those Huddersfield pix up!

Thanks for the vid Simon!

Just wondering, what with everything that's happening musically for you at the mo, do you think you're entering (hopefully) or in the most musically satisfying/enjoyable stage of you career so far?

Just thinking what a fun band Casbah Club looks like to be in ,and you're off supporting and playing in the Who shortly . . .

SteveH - totally! I never used to enjoy gigging much, atleast doing my own shows - I think the pressure got to me far too much. Now with such an amazing band around me I relax and have fun. I look forward to playing live, big or small gigs - it's a total buzz. I'm clean too, so I really get a lot more out of life in general.

Cool Simon! Whoa - great energy you guys have live.

Can't wait until you guys tour in the US.
I know I sound like a broken record (ha ha).

Thanks for posting this - I guess it will tide me over for a bit!
Great build up though- "anticipation is making me wait..."
Have a great weekend!
Be well,
Sue D.

Hi Simon,
great video! The sound is vaguely reminiscent of the Clash, which I mean as an absolute compliment- it rocks, it's direct, and great to listen to. You all look like you're having a great time on stage. Great song, very high energy, looking forward to seeing you rock the house in Berlin!

Alright Si,

Once The Who tour is done ,will you guys be going back on the road to tour the 'Venustraphobia' album?

I think you'll go down fantastically well at The Cavern in Liverpool.

Also, in August there's a HUGE free festival in Liverpool where stages are put up in the town centre and bands from all over the world turn up to play - they reckon over 500,000 people show up. Last years The Stranglers and The Buzzcocks played it - CC would be great at it - come and join the party!

This is going to be exciting to watch, thanks! - once I get it working: right now it loads but freezes after a few secs when I try to play it. Probably local network problems at my end since usually youtube videos play just fine.

Blogger E.L. Wisty said...

Okay, whatever the problem was it's gone. Fantastic energy there in the performance, makes me very excited to see the Casbah Club live in Bristol and Hyde Park. Who was behind the camera there? Respect to him/her, great camera work!

The band sounds good and tight... Kewl tune.

Hopefully I'll get to see ya when the tour hits the states.

As far as being clean is concerned, glad you quit smoking and drinking. Hey, a wine with a meal is not gonna harm you. Especially Italian cuisine. Sex is a good vice to have :)! LOL.

Very cool! Don't think CC would mind...

For anyone wanting to share a video on their blog or myspace etc you can paste the code (below) into your post or layout. The width and height is small as shown below to fit myspace but you can adjust to suit your needs to something like width="300" height="240" for a blog post etc.

NOTE: add a less than symbol < before embed and before /embed> (at the end)... I could not make this comment post with the html intact.

embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="225" height="170">/embed>

I'm with Paul B - I'd like to request a Cavern Club gig (or several) please!

...and yes, Mathew Street Festival in August too! It'll give me something to do other than hanging out in the pub with too little blood in my alcohol stream for the whole weekend!

love, Senti.*

I've opened 'The Pantheon Of Evil Album Covers' over on my blog, a place where we can lock up those garish 'what were they thinking' monstrosities for good.

If any of you guys have any nominations, feel free to put them forward..............or just browse at the poor unfortunates....
