Cool shots Si!

I've got some great shots from Huddersfield (possibly NEC too but not checked them out) that you might want to put up - what's the best way of getting them to you.

Hi Simon,

Fantastic live action photos by Matt here. I think it takes a special skill to capture the action with a camera. Then again it also helps if the band in question is someone that HAS action. Some woolly, "I'm just accidentally here" new acoustic movement band might not look good in photos in any circumstance.

As an Art Director I'd say 5,6,7,and 9 are the picks. As a grouping these are very dramatic and the color/haze is a great effect.

Hi Simon,
Great photos!! The new website also looks good. I have ordered the CD and can't wait to hear it.
It was great seeing Casbah Club gig at Guildford on Saturday. You guys were brilliant, even better then the last time I saw you play at The Who Convention. I wish I was living in England, I would be able to come see you play more often. 'Any way she moves' is my favourite song at the moment, along with 'Sex Change' and 'Vibrate'.
I took some photos during the show (as you may have noticed, LOL). They are being developed now (one colour film and one b/w film). I will put some of them on my webpage once I have them back. I will let you know when it
happens.
How is your foot? You told me you landed badly during the gig. I hope it wasn't anything serious.

A friend of mine runs a magazine / fanzine called 'The beat goes on and on'. If you want some publicity for Casbah Club, I can talk her into doing an article on Casbah Club. Just let me know.

Look forward to seeing CC again at Hyde Park and (hopefully) Liverpool. I just checked Ticketmaster, still no tickets available for Liverpool.

Take care,
Yolanda

Drove down to Birmingham NEC to see Casbah Club open for Quo on Sunday.

CC played a great set and really won over the notoriously difficult Quo crowd with many in the 12,000 capacity arena giving CC a standing ovation at the end. CC really suited the larger stage and are gonna shine on the Who shows coming up.

Man In Me rocked, Vibrate is class and Different Light kickked off a great set, which from memory was as follows.....

Different Light
20 To 11
Man In Me
Vibrate
The Way It Is
Anyway She Moves
When She Sleeps
Raised
Comeback
Save Me From Me
Sex Change

Cheers Si - top geezer

Hello Simon

When you look throughout your career, would you say now seems the most exciting time?

Pretty good when you have posts from Alecia, wow!!

Kind regards

Lance

Ah, that's very kind Lance - glad to help CC however I can. When music touches us I think we should help get it heard. Especially with an indie band - its the support of 'fans' that help get the word out.

Case in point -
It's really great to hear statements like this one from PaulBlpool...

>>CC played a great set and really won over the notoriously difficult Quo crowd with many in the 12,000 capacity arena giving CC a standing ovation at the end. CC really suited the larger stage and are gonna shine on the Who shows coming up.

Best to ya guys! We're thrilled for ya.

BTW, is that actually a good action shot of Mark? Save that one!

I hope all is well,

Bit of a techy question Si but have you made any alterations to the Clapton Strat that you play? I was mainly thinking of the pick up's - are they standard Fender issue???

Glad to see the live pics are going down well.

Storm - I know... I always seem to have something on my head, hat or glasses?!?

Yolanda - My foot is fine. It was just cramp. I'll do the interview. Cheers.

Hi MikeS - I can't announce The Who dates before they announce them. Will be any day now.

Hi Paul - not standard. I have p90s put on my guitars. Cheers.
