I have just got back from the studio. Been a long time since I've worked this late.... feels really good. Here is the link to the new Casbah Club website, when you get there you may recognise the picture (I'm the one in the middle): http://www.casbahclub.co.uk

Looking good Simon, can't wait for the new cd, will this be the main music you will be playing on the forthcoming tour with Status Quo?

Hi Simon,
Fellow blogger and I watched the "Bad News Bears" last night and I could swear that one of the little league coachs in the film was wearing the same track jacket as your bandmate!
Have a blast in the studio :)

Hope the studio has been a successful experience...enough to base a video on.

The site looks great. The only problem I see is that there are no dates in the U.S. You guys need to get something going over here.

Thanks for posting 'Comeback' on Simontownshend.com. That song is constantly in my head. Great lyric and melody.

Hi Paul B - thanks for the comments. Yeah, I'd like to thank my webmaster Kathy Van Tassell, Bill Bedzyk who got behind the whole thing and ofcourse Bob Kowalski at Stir Music. They are all great chums!

Hi Ann - It will be hard work but all in the name of R&R. Nothing can be sweeter than singing your own music in front of thousands of people.

Hey PT Fan - But I AM the one in the middle. What do you think of the new t-shirt?

Hi Ron - we are only recording 5 songs - they will be in the set, yes!

Hey WhoRocks! More pics as often as poss!

Hi Buck - Unfortunately not. Those recordings are in a state of limbo right now. Hopefully if we can strike a deal with certain parties they may see light of day. To be honest they don't sound anywhere near as good as the new stuff we're doing now so I don't care.

Hi AndyW - Yep! Where I like to be, either in studio or on stage.

Thanks Mandy - All clothes we are wearing are supplied by Merc London, in Carnaby St.

Hi Justin - I bought a new Sony HD camcorder and have been filming the sessions - results are awesome. Considering making my own video as the software is so easy to use nowadays. Also a very personal way to go and I think the fans like that.

Hi Storm - Have a good holiday? Yeah, gigs in the U.S?? There will be next year.... but that's supposed to be a secret??

Cool AndyW - Comeback is one of my personal faves. Funnily enough, Rachel Fuller asked me to produce her doing a cover of this song. I think it would be great for her - loads of acoustic, upbeat...

Thanks for the comments everyone - now go buy a shirt and spread the word!

Simon, hello! Rachel doing "Comeback" will be amazing.

I'm in Vancouver where it's foggy and eerie tonight. Have you played here? I think it's one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Good, great luck on your Casbah tour.
