All ready for the road. First stop BBC Radio Sheffield 2.30pm tomorrow, then on to soundcheck, then...

"Waking up in the battle zone..."!

This is what being in a band is all about. Not all the bullshit that I've had in my life these last few months dealing with lawyers and bitter colleagues. It's time to go out and do what I enjoy doing and put the problems of the past behind me. Play live to thousands of people, reaching out to touch them with music. That's all! Everything else can simply f--- off!

Animal Soup 'live' at the Astoria, London

There is a very cool addition to my website's music page; a recording of a gig I did with my band Animal Soup a few years ago. The whole performance has been uploaded with a full colour cover and made entirely available for free download. If you're interested, visit:

Casbah Club Promo Shot

It's late here. I know I have neglected my blog.... Sorry, been a busy boy. Also, worse still, it's 2.15am here and I have to be up pretty early - well, I won't be pretty but I have to be up early. Hopefully I'll be able to make some time tomorrow to blog around, meet a few interesting people, leave a few cryptic messages here and there. Until then here's a promo shot of Casbah Club taken by my wife Janie. That's me in the middle. Bye for now.

Hi folks! I'm back! After 1 year, 10 months, 6 days, 5 hours, 17 minutes and 22 seconds at last my official website is back. I have some very special people to thank for this; Bob Kowalski, Bill Bedzyk and Kathy Van Tassell. These three I will hold personally responsible for all the added work coming my way updating the site and answering the thousands (possibly millions) of emails that I'm going to have to sift laboriously through over the next few years. But seriously, they have done this for me through the love of my music and nothing else. They are investing their own time and money getting me back in the public domain because they are genuine friends and fans. For that I am truly grateful. Here is the link:

Also, I would like to wish my mother a very happy 82nd birthday! We are going out for an early evening celebration, perhaps afterwards I'll take her with me to tonights 'In The Attic', see if we can get her singing. If not I'll sing a song for her. Bye for now!
